Due to Saturday’s weather, Cora Lynn was presented its 2017 under-13 premiership flag under cover. Cobras president Allan Douglas introduced Jo Wilson, who presented the flag to coaches Lou Walsh and Monica Schade on behalf of the WGFNC. Wilson was last year’s opposing coach, and recalled the three games played between Kooweerup and Cora Lynn last year that ended in draws, including the grand final which the Cobras won in extra time.
