What’s on Cardinia – showcasing local events

The “What’s On Cardinia” website, launched in conjunction with Cardinia Shire Council provides a full list of events that are happening in Cardinia Shire, any day of the week.

The events calendar ensures that you’ll never miss out on event information again.

Search categories include markets, music, sport and ‘free’ – so searching for events is easy.

The website can ensure that registered visitors never miss an event by setting event alerts and upcoming events can easily be added to shortlists.

During the “What’s on Cardinia Festival” in February, a huge number of community members discovered hidden gems, new music and established artists. New wineries, new galleries, and larger attractions like Gumbuya World and Caldermeade Farm were unearthed to many locals who took the opportunity of a free visit or to enjoy some live, outdoor entertainment.

Our population is growing and “What’s On Cardinia” provides the perfect online tool to connect to each other and discover something new. The Food and Drink category provides plenty of local events that visitors may not be aware of. With so many fantastic markets in Cardinia Shire, it’s hard to keep track of them all, but this website makes it easy by listing all of the markets on one page.

Local businesses can benefit too, by adding their events for free. Any business, sole trader, not-for-profit, tourism operator, food venue, artist – what ever the organisation, if you are having an event, submit it to “What’s on Cardinia” website. Once approved, the website will help promote the event.

What’s on Cardinia makes it easier for visitors to find events, plan attendance and connect with local businesses and the community.

We hope you enjoy this new website and discover and connect to the latest events going on in Cardinia Shire!
