Women of Soul are coming to Pakenham to perform their catalogue of original sweet soul and heart-wrenching ballads this October.
Performing at the Cardinia Cultural Centre Theatre, Women of Soul will feature the sophisticated stylings of Chelsea Wilson and Stella Angelico’s exotic, psych, lounge meets girl-group sound.
Also performing on the night will be poet and lyricist Candice Monique who will fuse spoken and soul, and Mon Boggia on the keyboard.
Singer-songwriter Alzzy, 21, is one of the band’s newest members and will showcase her neo-soul, indie pop, RnB and jazz.
Women of Soul have received praise for their high octane and energetic shows and will be performing songs set to be released on their second studio album.
“The Women of Soul collective has been knocking the crowds off their feet with their live shows,” Soulsides on RTR FM host Adam Fox said.
Their self-titled first album was nominated for Best Soul/RnB Album at The Age Music Victoria Awards.
