Give badminton a go

If you’re looking for a fun new challenge, a way to keep fit or just love playing badminton, grab a racquet and head down to The Endurers Badminton club.

With two clubs already established in Clyde North and Noble Park, their new location in Pakenham will host Badminton Socials on Wednesday and Friday nights, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Sports Arena, 14/99 Bald Hill Road, Pakenham.

This third location is a credit to the club’s hard work, passion for the sport and unfaltering commitment to cater to players of all backgrounds and skill levels.

Each location offers social games, with the Clyde centre featuring an on-site coach to offer helpful tips and tricks, so beginners can feel at ease.

Courts are allocated to varying skill sets, ensuring players from all levels can have a great time with some friendly competition.

The club ensures players are assessed properly and streamlined into the right level for their experience, so there’s nothing to worry about if you’re new to the game.

Club founder Veena Athmaram is passionate about the sport and ensures an inclusive environment so every player can feel a part of the group, with more than 100 players across their centres.

For players with a bit more experience there’s quarterly internal tournaments held, adding to the friendly competition.
